Mgr. Adam Guman completed his master's studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Comenius University in Bratislava, study program Coaching - Fitness, Bodybuilding and Powerlifting, in 2021. He has been practicing since 2013 in Bratislava. You can also speak with Adam in English; for example, about traveling, cooking, and history.

1.1 I have never been to a gym before. Is personal training suitable for me?

Absolutely! For beginners, working with a personal trainer is the best possible choice. You will avoid technique mistakes, injuries, and unnecessary frustration. We will start completely from the basics, gradually teaching you how to breathe correctly, maintain good posture, and perform exercises in a way that makes you feel confident and safe.

1.2 I have a sedentary job, and my back hurts often. Can I start working out?

For you, exercising is not just suitable—it is practically essential. Many of our clients come from an office environment with neck or lower back pain. We customize the workouts to release overloaded muscles, strengthen the deep stabilizing system (core), and rid you of pain for good.

1.3 I am older (50+), isn't it too late to start working out?

It is never too late to start taking care of your body. We have clients of all age groups. The training plan is always strictly customized to your age, current fitness level, and any health limitations. Our priority will not be breaking records, but ensuring pain-free movement, better vitality, and long-term health.

2.1 Where do you operate, and where do the workouts take place?

We provide personal training services in Bratislava, Trnava, Senec, and the surrounding areas. To make your fitness journey as convenient as possible, you can choose from two options:

At a hotel fitness center in Bratislava (Rožňavská 34), which offers maximum privacy and comfort.

Right in the comfort of your home, where we will travel to you.

2.2 What are the benefits of training in a hotel fitness center?

We chose a hotel gym to provide you with a premium experience that you won't find in standard commercial fitness centers. You will have access to full amenities, including locker rooms and showers. Before or after your workout, you can relax in the hotel lobby. We will gladly brew you a coffee, offer you water, and make sure that your training session is also an enjoyable escape from daily stress.

2.3 Do you also train clients at home? What do I need for that?

Yes, home workouts are ideal for busy people who want to save commuting time. You don't need to own any expensive equipment. We design our workouts around bodyweight exercises and highly effective portable fitness equipment that we bring with us. All you need is a little bit of free space and the willingness to work out.

3.1 I have a very irregular schedule. Can you serve me?

Absolutely. Our greatest asset is our high degree of time flexibility. We understand that your work or family life requires a flexible approach. We schedule workouts on an ongoing basis to best fit your daily routine—whether you prefer to exercise early in the morning before work, during your lunch break, or in the evening.

3.2 Do you work on weekends? Is it possible to train during the weekend?

We are available to our clients from Monday to Friday. Weekends are reserved for rest and recovery, both for you and for us.

3.3 What times are available for a session?

It is always a matter of agreement. Normally, we have no problem starting the first session as early as 6:00 AM and wrapping up the last one between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Rest assured that we will do our utmost to provide you with plenty of time slots.

4.1 What do I need to bring to the workout?

All you need is sportswear, solid athletic shoes (such as running shoes designed for hard surfaces), a water bottle, and a towel.

4.2 What if I forget something?

Everything except your clothing is always taken care of. If you happen to forget your towel or fresh water in the morning rush, don't worry — we will provide everything for you. We want your workout experience to be as hassle-free as possible.

4.3 Do you offer any refreshments or supplements after the workout?

Yes. Depending on your goals and circumstances, immediate post-workout nutrition can be important for proper muscle recovery. Right after your session, we can prepare a high-quality protein shake tailored to your needs. While staying at the hotel facilities, coffee, water, protein bars, fruit, and pleasant service at the reception are a matter of course.

4.4 What if work unexpectedly gets in the way and I have to cancel a session?

When working with busy people and entrepreneurs, a change of plans is bound to happen. If you let us know with sufficient notice (standardly 24 hours in advance), your session will not be forfeited, and we will gladly arrange a makeup date. Flexibility is our top priority.

4.5 Will parking in front of the hotel gym be convenient for me?

Yes, this is one of our major benefits. There are always plenty of parking spaces, making the experience completely stress-free. You just park, and if you are already wearing your workout clothes, you only need to change your shoes and we can start training right away.

4.6 Large gyms are often hectic. Will I have to rush out right after my workout?

Not at all. You can take a shower without any rush, answer emails in the hotel lobby, or relax over a cup of coffee or tea.

4.7 Is there enough privacy in the locker rooms? What do they look like?

You won't have to squeeze in with a crowd of other clients in the locker rooms like you do in regular gyms. Lockers are available for you to store and lock your belongings. If you need a hairdryer or shower gel, we will offer them to you.

5.1 How long does a personal training session last?

A standard training session lasts 60 minutes. This timeframe is ideal for a proper warm-up and mobility routine, the main workout focused on your goals, and, of course, a final stretch to cool down and relax the muscles.

5.2 If I want to work out at home, do I need to buy my own equipment?

Not at all, you don't need to invest in any equipment. If the workout requires specific tools (such as resistance bands, expanders, a TRX system, mats, or light dumbbells), we will bring everything necessary with us. You just focus on the workout.

5.3 Does the trainer focus only on me?

Exactly. The session is dedicated exclusively to you; you have the trainer's full, undivided attention. Naturally, working towards your fitness goals can be accompanied by pleasant conversation that is rewarding for both sides.

5.4 What kind of equipment and gear will I find in the gym where we train?

Barbells, plenty of weight plates, resistance bands, dumbbells, machines for isolated muscle training, exercise mats, and more. For cardio, there are treadmills, elliptical trainers, and a stepper available.

6.1 I have had a past injury / surgery. Can I still work out with you?

As long as exercise and physical activity have been cleared by your attending physician or physiotherapist, we would be more than happy to work with you. During the initial consultation, we will discuss your health status in detail, and I will design a training plan that is 100% safe for you, respects your limitations, and helps you successfully get back into shape. When necessary, we also consult our clients' situations with other specialists focusing on the musculoskeletal system.

6.2 How will I know that I am actually improving? If I want to lose weight or build muscle, will we only weigh ourselves?

The number on the scale is far from everything and can often be misleading. We will measure our progress together in a much more comprehensive way. We will focus on how your favorite clothes fit, your daily energy levels, and how your posture and fitness have improved. The ultimate goal is for you to feel stronger, healthier, and pain-free.

We can provide clients with an initial professional body composition analysis (muscle, fat, water) and repeat this measurement throughout our cooperation. This allows us to continuously collect data, which we then evaluate after a set period, for example, every 3 months.

6.3 How often should I work out to see results?

To achieve visible results and build a solid habit, we recommend working out with a trainer ideally 2 to 3 times a week. However, everything depends on your schedule and goals. During the initial consultation, we will set up a realistic plan together that you can maintain long-term.

6.4 Do you also address nutrition with clients, or just the workouts themselves?

Exercise is only one piece of the puzzle. To achieve your goals (whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, or having more energy), we will gladly help you adjust your diet as well. We do not offer nonsensical crash diets; instead, we will teach you how to build your meals sustainably, how calories work, and how to choose the right supplements (vitamins, protein).

7.1 Is it possible to arrange sessions for couples or pairs (with a partner, friend, or colleague)?

Absolutely! Training in pairs is a very popular format. The benefits include mutual support, healthy competition, and a lot of fun. Additionally, this form of training is more cost-effective for both of you, while the quality and supervision of proper technique remain at the same high level.

7.2 Is it possible to just try out a session with you first, with no obligation?

We understand that it's not just about our expertise, but also about building a good personal connection. That is why we offer the option of an initial meeting combined with a trial workout and movement assessment. You will see firsthand how we communicate and how the training itself works, and then you can freely decide whether to continue working together.

7.3 We want to provide workouts focused on a healthy back and proper posture for our company's employees. Can you arrange this?

We have extensive experience with this form of corporate cooperation, and employee feedback has been incredibly positive. We can design the conditions and the workouts themselves to help your employees become more productive, have more energy, and look forward to coming to work. We can also seamlessly combine this with occasional interactive lectures on health, sports, and physical activity.

8.1 What can be the goal of a customized workout or nutrition plan?

The goals of these plans can be truly diverse. Some want to support proper posture by working out at home, while others aim to relieve back pain. A large group of clients wants to lose weight, build muscle, and increase strength. For some, a doctor may recommend adding exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, and they don't know how to approach it on their own. Nutrition plans make achieving these goals much easier. It is often necessary to design a meal plan that respects the client's food allergies, intolerances, and preferences. If someone decides not to eat meat, we will make sure to provide enough essential amino acids and other important nutrients. The most common problem is that with the sheer volume of information out there, creating a suitable diet or workout plan can be overwhelming for a client. We are happy to help.

8.2 Will the plan be explained to me? In what format will I receive it?

We will explain your nutrition plan during an online or in-person consultation. We will clarify everything that might be confusing. The workout plan includes videos with descriptions so that you can understand the technique and specifics of individual exercises. The nutrition plan is enriched with information on the nutritional profile of foods in terms of calories, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. We will send you the plan in a PDF format via email or bring it printed to your in-person consultation.

8.3 How long will I have to wait for my workout or nutrition plan?

Depending on the complexity of the design, our standard delivery time is within 1 to 2 business days. Once the plan is ready, we will present it and send it to you as soon as possible so that you can start without any unnecessary delays.
